PHYSICAL THERAPY: Physical Therapy is a combination of utilizing evidence-based protocols, manual therapy techniques, and approaching the body as a functional unit where all parts are connected to one another. We work one-on-one with patients to correct muscle imbalances, achieve peak functionality and we strive to enhance quality of life. The initial goal is to repair and restore the body to proper functional movement patterns and once that is achieved we help patients further by moving forward to the next set of goals.
VR PHYSIO: VRPhysio™ is a hi-tech and data driven tool used as part of the physical therapy process to track progress and enhance results. It is an FDA registered virtual reality rehabilitation software designed to guide the performance of exercises while continuously tracking motion in space. VRPhysio™ software platform includes a series of full body exercises created just for physical rehabilitation treatment. Utilizing real-time data analysis based on advanced algorithms, the application generates progress reports containing valuable data and improvement analysis.
ACUPUNCTURE: Acupuncture stems from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which originated in ancient China more than 3000 years ago. The practice of acupuncture involves gentle insertion of fine, sterile, disposable needles into strategic points on the body. It treats a myriad of health conditions from musculoskeletal pain to hormonal imbalances.
MASSAGE: Massage therapy is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of normalizing tissues and consists of manual techniques that include applying fixed or movable pressure to the body. Our therapists offer deep tissue, trigger point and Swedish massage and can customize each treatment to your specific needs. Each style of massage assures tension release, circulation enhancement and overall wellness.
PERSONAL TRAINING & CORRECTIVE EXERCISE: Personal Training and Corrective Exercise can be before, after, or in tandem with Physical Therapy treatment. Depending on the client’s needs, we offer one-on-one services to compliment physical therapy treatment, used alone as preventive or corrective treatment, or just for overall conditioning and wellness improvement. Our trainers are all certified by nationally recognized organizations and work along with Dr. Dvoskin to provide a safe and effective program.
NORMATEC COMPRESSION BOOTS: The Normatec Pulse system is a dynamic compression device designed for recovery and rehab to help massage your limbs, mobilize fluid, and speed recovery. The technology is designed to help athletes recover faster between trainings and after performance as well as suitable for post-operative care under your physicians guidance.
